Our Covid Secure Statement

 


The ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting mark means that we have demonstrated that we are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have the required processes in place. 

 

 

CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We politely ask our holiday guests and Private Owners not to travel to the Park if feeling unwell or displaying any signs of Covid-19 – in the event this happens please contact us.

IF YOU DEVELOP SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 WHILE ON PARK
If you fall ill during your stay with us or develop a new continuous cough or high fever, you and your booking party must arrange to return home immediately. You will not be permitted to self-isolate at Lakeside Holiday Park. We would also respectfully ask that you inform our staff so that we can commence our emergency Covid protocol. You and all your party must remain in your accommodation until you receive further instruction from one of our members of staff.

 ON YOUR ARRIVAL
Our reception will remain open but where possible we will be operating a contactless check in.
Before you arrive, we ask that you advise us of your arrival time. This should be between 4pm  – 6pm. We understand there can be hold ups with holiday traffic etc, please contact us before 6pm with an ETA so that we know you are experiencing a problem or need to make/amend arrival arrangements for you.

We will not be supplying customers with our normal Welcome Pack. All necessary information will be given prior to arrival, we also have a brand new Lakeside Holiday Park app to download with all the information you should need, you can download now from either Apple Store or Google Play. Please ensure you check your booking details before arrival.

OUR ENHANCED CLEANING STANDARDS
Our cleaning standards have always been exceptionally high & we want to give you the confidence that this will remain so by adding an additional sanitising layer to enhance our cleaning measures already in place.

We have introduced new cleaning products which are anti-viral & highly effective against pathogens like Coronavirus.

Our staff all have been trained in cleanliness & hygiene. We will be providing them with all the PPE required, including gloves, facemasks  and face visors. It is not a requirement that they use them, however, we hope you do not mind if they choose to do so for yours and their enhanced safety. In the unlikely event that you have any issues regarding cleanliness please call reception so it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

CARAVAN CLEANING
When our cleaners first enter the caravan, they will use the new equipment as described under the heading Enhanced Cleaning Standards, on all surfaces, touchpoints, beds, and soft furnishings.

PRIVATE OWNERS
We would like to remind our Private Owners that you must only socialize in your own family or your selected bubble family – please follow the current government guidance.

OUR FACILITIES
The Arcade, Boathouse Play Area and *Toilets (from *17th May) will be open for the 2021 Season. The Boathouse will be open for takeaway and will also have some limited seating outside for serving drinks from the 12th of April. The Boathouse will be opening for service inside from the 17th May in line with government guidelines.

FISHING
The normal two people to a peg must be reduced to one person unless it is a member of your own family. Social distancing must always be observed. Please ensure you leave the area tidy there will be bins close by.

ON PARK
While you are on park, we ask that you always maintain the required social distancing (or new guideline as required). Please make space for each other & be patient at any pinch points.

Social gathering with other families may not permitted whilst on park – please follow the current government guidance.

Please ensure you take appropriate precautions when visiting reception such as washing your hands before or using the sanitising gel provided by the entrance door.

LOCAL FACILITIES
Our local supermarkets are just a short drive away, Tesco, Lidl, Asda. Aldi , they are operating the standard Covid 19 safety measures as you will be familiar with.  Within easy walking distance are also shops, cinema, coffee shops, pubs, cafes, fish & chips shops, restaurants, arcades, beach, and  park to relax and enjoy.   All facilities will be open in line with government guidelines.

ON YOUR DEPARTURE
We ask our guests to leave the windows open on a latch or top windows for ventilation as they depart their holiday caravan.

When it’s time to say goodbye, may we kindly remind you that you must vacate your caravan by 10am to enable us to safely prepare for the next guest’s arrival. Thank you for your assistance.

Coronavirus Booking Promise

We understand how important your holiday is to you. To provide you with additional reassurance we are extending our Coronavirus Booking Promise for the 2021 season as follows;

– If we need to cancel your booking, you can choose to either move your booking or receive a full refund for bookings up to the 30th October 2021.
– If a member of your booking party falls ill or must isolate due to Covid-19 we will move your booking to another date. Our full Coronavirus Booking Promise Terms & Conditions can be read here.
